You're right, that is the problem. IMO, there should be a clock that starts again. Long time ago I did a FOIL request and they answered me within the time limits, told me that they wer in the process of compiling the requested information and they would send it to me as soon as they can. Well... it was over 1 year before I got what I asked for, but I did get it. Boy did I get it

    Cool

OK, people, let's get back to the topic here, and not have an extended talk about the ins and outs of FOIL requests.

Clark, thank god, is leaving to run (say l-o-s-e-r) for County Exec.

    Who will take his place?

    Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

    Is Ferris available?

I'd like to think someone will come forward. Unfortunately, WS is a party line town. I don't think someone who is outside the "clique" would have much luck.

I dont believe we have anyone truely qualified running. I'm not saying they are bad candidates but placing someone from the "system" isn't really giving us something noteable.

    Cool

All this B.S. about not considering candiates from within "the system" pisses me off.

We have seen two train wrecks from outside "the system" in Amherst and Hamburg. Terrible choices for Supervisors. TERRIBLE!

Just because candidates are politically astute or have been active does not mean they should be exempt from consideration for office.. Lots of people are committeemen, or hold planning/zoning positions, and should be "eligible" for office consideration.

West Seneca deserves a real Supervisor, not to settle for someone "new".

By "politically astute", do you mean someone who is willing to march in lock step with Paul Clark's bidding? Or, maybe it's a person who has the ability to make large contributions to various campaigns.

When I attended my first WS Town Board meeting, I thought it rather odd that Board members had few real questions regarding all the issues before it. At all of the meetings to follow, I noticed the publics concern for some of these same issues, yet the Board members seemed almost perturbed the residents were questioning their judgment. I then examined the prior months and years minutes, hoping to find a shred of evidence demonstrating some disagreement from a Board member on an issue. All I found was all "yea" votes, every time. Not long ago, one member seemingly got out right pissed that a resident was still questioning an issue he had been having trouble with for THREE YEARS. Such insolence, to expect your elected officials to act in your best interest and that of it's citizens.

And let us not forget, there are Council seats open this year as well!

So, I pose the question to you Big Guy. WHO?

    OK, OK.

I can think of a few.

Paul Notaro, who is the Deputy Town Attorney, would do a good job.

So would Dan Dunn, who wanted to run for the Town Council, but was "beaten back" by the Clark-ites. Dunn is active in town with a few organizations.

Dan Frontera, a real sharp guy, who is also an Iraq vet, Volunteer Fire fighter, no ties to Clark or Lorigo, would be a good choice also.

    There's three to start.

    Comments?

Notaro- currently part of the Clark team, and not sure I'd trust him.

I'm unfamiliar with Dunn and Frontera, however I would like to meet them. I may have, but do not recall. What are your thoughts on Dave Annamopolis (?)from Market in the Square.(I can barely say his last name, let alone spell it) He's mentioned an interest.
If you really want to shake things up, why not Dale Clarke, or someone from the Southgate Homeowners Association?

Bove seems to think she's the annointed.

I like Notaro, not sure if there is interest there.

Frontera would need a lot of help to fight the name recognition problem.

What about Wroblewski could he re-appear?

    :

That name is wrong on so many levels!!!!
Sure he did such a great job in County Government He'll work for Clark if (God forbid) he becomes CE.

On the Bove note, perhaps Clark is anointing her

God help us all. Rudnicki? Yet again? Will she shoot for 0 for three?

Never heard of any of those you mentioned. Someone from the Market on the Square?

Don't know him. Never really heard of the "Southgate Homeowners Assn.". Are they the one always complaining about Soccer players pissing in their yards? Or about flooding? It seems there should me more...

Wroblewski will run a Primary against Locklear to get his County Leg. seat back. (Leg. and Co.Exec. primaries on the same day in Sept.)

He is a "man on a mission" in that respect, as he embarassed that someone like her beat him. Then, when he loses, he hopes Clark will give him a job. But, when Clark loses also, then what??????

    Sha

Yep! Southgate group are people tired of having their backyards used as urinals. Can't say I blame them. The Town did lie to them as well as the people in the area.

You don't know Dale "Clarkie" Clarke? He's the guy who gives Paul Clark and the gang crap about the hiring practices in WS.

As for Dave A., he's at meetings from time to time. Maybe not a good choice . Just throwing out ideas.

What scares me is that a majority of business people in WS, who might be good candidates, are tied to or owe PC in some way. How many businesses use Clark & Koller to cook, I mean keep their books? Ralph Lorigo is a client from what I've heard, as well as a large contributor to the Clark campaigns. The question remains, who?
