    Presidents Bank Note 1852

    Presidents Bank Note 1852

A customer came in today to see if I could repair a 1990s Panasonic cassette player. The spring that pushes up the door where the cassette loads in is broken. Said it would be cheaper to buy another player instead of searching for a replacement spring.

She was from Italy and we got to talking. I always ask older clients if they have any old news papers from Buffalo. She then mentions she's on her way to a jeweler to sell a 1976 Montreal Olympic type necklace with a mounted $10 dollar silver coin and this $5 dollar bill.

Not really worth anything unless it was in very very good condition.

    Did a little research...

Apparently copies were made. I see the word "copy" on the bill including on the bill on this ebay listing
