Also unemployment's is running out soon for my cousin and the 660's other's who just lost their jobs when Ahold recently closed their Lancaster & Cheektowaga warehouse's, My Cousin can't find another job in WNY and he's got a mortgage, 2 kids & a wife to support. He called Ahold and he's going to take job with Ahold in Allentown PA, and he said a lot of the Ahold's Lancaster warehouse's worker's use to go to TGIF's at Main & Transit after work everyday.

Here's the link. because no one want's to believe reality in WNY and everything has to be proven to them.

Maybe your cousin should have thought about how employable he was before getting married and having two kids. Maybe your cousins wife should look at getting a job to contribute to the family. Lastly, maybe he should have been more frugal with his money and not go to places like TGIF everyday after work.

How about inviting him to move to AZ with you. Is there enough room in the basement?

And despite all those closings and job losses you mention, Buffalo has been seeing an increase in the total number of jobs for years. It hasn't been great growth but it has been growth nonetheless and that can't be disputed.

In Arizona, you can go to TGIF for free and get pizza and a soda for a nice backrub.

I forgot to mention, also most of the people he worked with couldn't or can't find a job either, Many already have left for North & South Carlolina or already have transfered to Ahold's other warehouse's in different state's. SC & NC is going to be like the new Buffalo, Not that AZ isn't starting to feel like the new Buffalo too, Their are so many people from WNY living in AZ, that even Ted's Hotdog's is building several new Locations in AZ and the Taste of Buffalo, Native New Yorker are also planning on adding more location's.

This is because Buffalo is flipping over it's labor force. Low skill warehouse workers with a GED or HS diploma are going to find it more and more difficult to find a job. Let alone raise a family with kids. There are plenty of people from WNY in NC...especially Charlotte and the Triangle. Not too many towie types, like yourself, but rather skilled labor migrating to NC for jobs in the financial and technology sectors.

Happy to hear Ted's is coming to AZ. They typically have pretty good specials on their hot dogs. If you find enough change in the couch upstairs you might be able to go sometime.
