"Dennis Gabryszak knows how to keep us afloat."
Says he kept taxes stable and won an award for his smart town financial management saving taxpayers nearly $100,000.
-----------------
All I know is it has cost me more every year in taxes to live in cheektowaga. It's not just my opinion taxes went up, I know 100's of people who live in Cheektowaga who's taxes crept up year after year. I don't think that is what anyone but a politician would call kept taxes stable.
"As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 94019"
$100,000 / 94019 = $1.06 in savings.
Why don't they print
"and won an award for his smart town financial management saving each taxpayer a $1.06"
Great he saved each resident $1.06 with his award while thier cost of living in the town went up every year through tax increases or assessment increases.

Gabrysak will fight to:
Bring more economic aid
help businesses outside of the Empires Zones get thier fair share
stop albany from passing the buck to local taxpayers
reduce taxes.
-----------------------------------------------------
Most sucessful business people don't want other peoples money in the form of aid. There shouldn't be empire zones to begin with on the local business to local business level. Who's fair share is he refering to? I don't want my share of what I earn going to anyone else and I don't expect anyones share of what they earn to come to me.
Reduce taxes? This theory hasn't been proven while he's superivisor so why should we expect anything else once he's assembly person?
Who here in cheektowaga has seen an active campaign from our current superivisor to lower taxes? I know I haven't see it.
Who prints this crap up anyhow?

I have received those mailings. The only thing they tell me is that Dennis stands for STATUS QUO. They do not provide a platform. They were paid for by the state Democratic Party. Which tells me, that Dennis will vote the way the party wants him to and not for the taxpayers in his district. While debating Dennis at the Dick-Urban taxpayer meeting, an elderly lady asked Dennis, "will you vote to keep Sheldon Silver as speaker?". Dennis did not answer her question. I believe these mailings tell us why. Dennis was supervisor when the solar light deal was approved. Mr. Jankowiak's (town councilman) relative received a huge commission check on the sale of these lights. A deal that should be investigated by the State Attorney General. If Dennis allows these deals at the local level, what can we expect at the state level. Dennis does not have the integrity nor the backbone to do what is right. He is full of rhetoric and has no plan.
