Mr. Bowen,
You are absolutely 100% accurate that Andrew Freedman and his ilk keep the churning of the taxpayers going. Hamburg is NOT alone. If you want to see some really bad stuff, Hodgson Russ IS still raking it in for the removal of a school board member in Lew-Port. Thats been going on for you years, and there is no end in sight. Remember, when Freedman had his press conference with Jetter and they launched the attack on Forcucci, that cost the taxpayers 350,000- and Andrew and his partners at Hodgson Russ, including Hamburg Village Judge Andrew Flemings brother got themselves some nice bonuses no doubt. The we turn our attention to the Cavaugh thing, well if thats not a witch hunt nothing it. She didn't leave a lesson plan when she was out? Well, um last we checked there are emergency lesson plans. That situation is insane, and now they are up to close to a million dollars I read in the paper and on this blog. And meanwhile, the school doesnt meet IEPS, and has more complaints than ever. They said we would all be happy and life would be bliss when the board member was removed, and they sent Cavanagh home, but guess what Mr. Bowen, from your situation you can see that its worse now than ever. The administration is so inexperienced that things get screwed up every day. Kids don't get the IEPs met, and on and on and on. I read the post here and can't get a understanding of how a student could take a final exam home? Are you sure about that. There are super extreme test security measures. I sure would love to learn about that. Sorry for your trouble sir, but there are other kids in our schools who do far worse than what you explain and never get in trouble. How about the kid who pulled a chair from underneath the English teacher when she went to sit down? She landed on the floor. Or the other outbursts that seem to be more frequent these days. Too much sugar? Who knows. Sorry for the problems, and your son is probably in a better place. Can someone please find us a real superintendent. How many days until June?

To which I replied: Reply by Dave Bowen: In response to your question "I read the post here and can't get a understanding of how a student could take a final exam home? Are you sure about that. "Daniel can take the final exam at anytime over the summer " from a wonderful teacher and 2. from an excellent educator "I was going to email you just to confirm that Daniel did not re-take the final (simply because there was no test in my mailbox from him). This total situation is extremely well documented; ie thorough and complete document evidence trails. Be assured there is no hearsay. The situation started with, following detail probing, this email response "As far as Daniel's grade goes, homework is graded upon completion and not accuracy. So while his homework is complete, the accuracy may or may not be there". Imagine no opportunity to practice advance math and learn from mistakes. The corruption is deep and complex.
