I'm not a fan of Chinese food, but my husband always orders from some place in the M&T plaza on Delaware and Hertel.
I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions.
I have lived here on and off for school/jobs the past few years but I've never found a decent Chinese place (and I've tried many)!
I was a bit spoiled where I used to live in this regard and figured it would be easy to find a good one in Buffalo since there are so many, but so far the best I've found is just average at best.
One place I ordered from a couple weeks ago now has the distinction of being the first time I have ever ordered food from a restaurant that I could not eat. It was absolutely disgusting.
Any suggestions?

Ling Ling on Elmwood in Kenmore is above average for the area.

Tin Tin, Kenmore at Starin...........On the Town of Tonawanda side.
There is an all you can eat buffet next to wild wings in the city
People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
Buyer beware. The porcelain throne became my best friend after eating there recently. I used to eat there on a somewhat regular basis, but they've been scratched from the list. There is an all you can eat buffet next to wild wings in the city
The food was probably fine when it was first cooked, but quickly infected by the steady clientele of knuckle-draggers and mouth-breathers that frequent the place at lunch time.

I went a few times with the kids after the movies, it was OK. Never been for lunch though and it has been a yr or so since I have been in there.
I'm not that crazy for the local oriental food

There was (maybe still is) a place called Mings on MAin Street near Third Base, etc. Not fast at all - more like a sit-down Chinese place.
Then there's Red Pepper on Maple in Amherst - a couple of miles from North Buffalo, but worth the trip.
any of u guys remember Chins on main? ......... or am I showing my age

I don't know if it's too far, but Ling Ling's on Elmwood in Kenmore used to be pretty good. I haven't had it in many years though.
If you don't like gay marriage blame straight people. They're the ones who keep having gay babies.

The best 'americanized fast food' chinese is the one in Mid-City plaza in North Tonawanda. China Wok, I think???
I live in the southtowns, and don't like anywhere around us. I go up there once every couple months when I feel like chinese.
