    Dumb, Dumb Dareus Suspended..

You have to get rid of people like this like kane on the sabres they just dont learn. now dumb dumb gets into more trouble.

Bills DT Marcel Dareus is facing a four-game suspension for another violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, league sources tell ESPN.

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills star defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is facing a four-game suspension for another violation of the NFL's substance-abuse policy, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

The violation stems from another positive test for marijuana, sources confirmed to Schefter. The positive marijuana test was first reported by NFL Network.

Dareus can appeal the suspension, which would keep him out of the first four games of the regular season. The sixth-year defensive tackle was previously suspended for the first game of the 2015 season for a violation of the substance-abuse policy following a May 2014 arrest in Alabama for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The suspension is another blow to the Bills' defense, which lost starting outside linebacker Shaq Lawson to offseason shoulder surgery that is expected to keep him out until Week 6 at the earliest, a source told Schefter. Buffalo also will be without starting inside linebacker Reggie Ragland this season after he tore his ACL in training camp.

When are the Bills going to get players of character.
The Bills GM should shoulder the blame for these criminals that are on our team.

No he didn't. He specializes in guys who break easy...Shady, Sammy, Lawson (Shaq), Ragland. And don't forget the role of Wrecks in all of this. He's a "players' coach". Anything goes, including about a dozen penalties in a preseason game. Remember, it's not for nothing that they call him Wrecks. Oh, and when Lawson (Manny) gets back he faces 1 game suspension.

Hard to have an improved defense when half the squad is injured and suspended.

Add Manny Lawson to the list for 1 game for Domestic
Let me articulate this for you:
"I'm not locked in here with them. They're locked in here with me!!"

Whaley may not of drafted Marcel Dareus but he resigned him to a new contract.

Well, because he is a good player. He screwed up without a doubt. He's hardly the first, won't be the last and I do not blame Whaley for Marcells behavior.

(WIVB) — After reports surfaced that Buffalo Bills linebacker Manny Lawson was under investigation for alleged domestic violence, the team released a statement. There is a possibility that Lawson could face suspension from the NFL, but it is not clear how long it would last.

I'm trying to point out that our GM drafts people that have questions about their character

Go down the list of draftees since he became GM. Pretty much anyone from Fla State and go from there.

I give Dareus credit for trying to get the help it seems he may need. I know he's a big man but it takes a big man some times to let go and recognize that he can't do it alone and needs support. I've watched him a time or two and wondered how I'd deal with the hand that life has dealt him.

he needed help before the last time he got into trouble.
Buffalo, NY (WBEN) As Marcell Dareus enters rehab, reportedly for marijuana, fans are wondering if this is just a PR ploy. But one expert in treating addictions says this is a lifestyle change.

Nick Gazzoli of Horizon Health says no matter the substance, if it causes enough turbulence in one's life, it becomes an addiction. "If someone has a lifestyle gets compromised on account of a substance, and if it causes legal, family or work problems, you have to ask if the substance causes the problems," says Gazzoli.

Gazzoli says marijuana is a gateway drug, but not for the reason you may think. "Marijuana is the gateway drug because they say, 'Yes I'll get high.' Once you get high on one thing, it's just not uncoommon to start saying yes to other things," explains Gazzoli. He adds when you think about crack or heroin addicts, most will say they started with marijuana.

Gazzoli says no matter the substance, it's all about putting in the work to get treated for the addiction. "Are you going to go to meetings? Are you going to make certain lifestyle changes, or are you going to walk into a program, sit in for a small period of time and hope you come out a different person?" asks Gazzoli.

Whether Dareus' rehab will be a PR move, Gazzoli says that's not an issue. "I can't say whether his public figure has any relation to whether he is in treatment," says Gazzoli. "If he is struggling, treatment is appropriate. You will find many prominent figures, is it PR for them? No, people want to make lifestyle changes."

On one side I can see how it's frustrating to that someone getting paid millions can't follow the rules. On the other side I can see how many think it's stupid to hammer players for weed.

It's obvious his 'addiction' to weed did not hurt his performance. In fact, it's possible the medicinal aspects of weed help players performance.

The NFL does not seem to have issues with players taking shots or pills to hid injuries and hide behind those pills and shots being legal but they have an issue with weed.

    ^ This

The fact that it is legal in what, 3 states where the NFL operates makes it all the more idiotic.

Rehab for weed is the dumbest thing I ever heard of. Meanwhile, probably 50%+ of the Bills team is getting cortisone shots right now, after a night of drinking and taking prescription pain killers.
