The former managers of Marine Drive Apartments have not turned over to the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority any of the rents they collected during the final two weeks they ran the 616-unit apartment complex, authority officials said Monday.
The rents collected between Jan. 1 and Jan. 15 could total between $200,000 and $250,000, said Gillian Brown, the authority's attorney.

What's more, almost three weeks after a new manager took over, Housing Authority officials still do not know what the previous management employees did with the petty cash fund or the bank accounts.
