I love hearing a resident say "our streets are clear after it snows". That's funny, when I go to my in-laws house in Depew after a snow I can tell the exact moment Lancaster stopped and Depew started.

Why didn't that end up in the Buffalonews ?

Tonight Cheektowaga to give Depew $440,000 toward DEPEW police coverage. I believe they do this yearly as part of the Cheektowaga taxes Depew residents pay.
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !

Meaning what? Depew's street are clear and Lancaster's are not or vice versa?

1/10/2017 Cheektowaga Town board meeting agenda packet. By this writing it should be official.

Lancaster's are down to the pavement, Depew's are not. In dry weather its the roughness, patches and potholes that lets me know I've arrived in Depew. I should not these are the neighborhood streets, not the main roads. Columbia Ave always seems to be well plowed.

I agree with you. Depew's steets seem bumpy and lumpy and the village is dumpy. Cross over to Lancaster and it's smooth sailing, nicer homes and less taxes. The Depeweans just don't get it.

The difference is rather stark where Sawyer Ave (Lanc Vlg) turns into Main Street (Depew Vlg). It's like a time warp.
