    2010 Downtown Development

Found this on another site... City-data. So what is in the works for 2010 that isn't shown here?

It seems to be lacking some very important info. Many of the projects listed show public hearing dates from previous years, but nothing about if they were ever actually approved or not. To be truly informative, they would add a summary page listing which were actually approved, denied or shelved.

    Thumbs up Follow up

You can follow up on any project status to find out recent updates. A contact # is listed, as you know.

In your line of work, getting calls from interested parties is a good thing, if a property is sold or under contract, you have a live lead you can try to sell another property to. The ECIDA doesn't need leads and hopefully they have better things to do than answer questions from the average joe. They have a duty to be transparent and report these things.

You can always send them your previous proposal. As you know and undersand, any can plan a project. Depends on a project, its budget and time frame, the complition can be postponed until ....further notice or funds availability.

Waiting for the government grant money? Live to learn. Good luck!

No, I'm not waiting for money. I want to see how OUR money is being used. I want to see the results!

Pretty low but it is pretty low everywhere. The difference is other cities have 5x more projects announced. It really is a numbers game.
