    So answer her question

    Woodstock

The more important question to look at is "why didn't these candidates choose Primary Challenge in the first place?"
Lenny blew it with primary challenge for this year unless he's busy working behind the scenes on it instead of running for a spot in politics.

He should of kept his nose to the grindstone and make primary challenge better this year. Sort of quieted it down if you noticed.

THey could of stay on focus, on various debate shows and accomplished more this year than last time. Learn from the problems from the year before and to make the group stronger. Stronger all means more effective in the goals they want to accomplish..

    Go figure... short attention span.

So exactly what is Rus T doing? Running against hoyt in a realistic way? Is he offciailly on a card somewhere to vote for yet? He was a part of primary challenge still?

Did you honestly think anyone will answer anything woodstock asks? You couldn't wait to create another thread about something woodstock posted, could you? Why can't you just leave me alone?

Learn from all the "problems" I posted on last year about the PC that got you so bent out of shape?

I said from the very beginning how many mistakes the PC was/is making. I even wrote an editorial that YOU removed cuz you thought they deserved a chance. What chance? If there was any kind of a chance to "win ppl over" ... they lost it before the group was even started. By ordering (their) candidates to follow Roberto's "rules" it cost quite a few good elections. I said it from the very start. Good for LR to run, but the PC was washed up half way through their primaries last year. In this, the taxrevolt failed last year and you still maintained harsh words towards me. Today, all you have is yet another created thread cuz of something woodstock said.

PS. The only thing to come from the PC is Cindy Locklear.... whom I have always said could have won her election w/o them.

If you could let go of your self-absorbed ways for one minute, you would see that he was trying to help you get an answer for a question that you asked.

    Let the games begin.... again!

My question didn't need answering since Rez has so many ppl trained to be against anything woodstock has to say/ask.

Rez's post sat untouched from 4 o'clock until mine at 10:11 pm (6 friggen hours!) but, oh look..... and how ironic, therising posted at 10:18 PM to say something about woodstock and not the question that was asked.

    same sh.it different day!

For me, Primary Challenge proved the worth of the existing parties.

At some level, they "vet" their candidates and when a candidate is endorsed by one of the traditional parties, it provides guidance and logistical and technical support. Sort of the "blocking and tackling" of politics.

These were things PC did not do.

The premise and intention of Primary Challange awoke the hearts of people to challange their government in a way that was not seen in WNY prior.
For those of us who where directly involved with Primary challange it was, and may still be, springboard for reform.
The party politics know as the "machine" in NYS, as mentioned by biker, has had it's face publicly shown. Giving notice to the powers that be, "we" are paying attention. Yet I do not beleive that there are enough "weez" to enable true reform.
    The question is more likely to be;
    Will Primary Challange fall and if so;
would that fall take place because of its' people or the public?

So you are challenging the intelligence of people who truly wanted to run but did not know how? Sorry but if the candidates are not able to do research on there own on how to run for office then I cannot see them in office making critical decisions that would affect our lives in WNY.

For those of us who where directly involved with Primary challange it was, and may still be, springboard for reform.
And one big NOT! Goes out to you. I could see the current slate of people in office now making that big difference. Oh wait that is my sleeping blinds that I have on over my eyes. Still the same picture though

People need to work together for a common cause. More importantly people need to accept everyone’s ideas and not throw a pissy fit every time someone says something that is not with there own idea.

There is not enough “WEEEEEZZZZZ” if you have 20 people going off in 21 directions and then coming around bumping into each other as they pass for the second attempt round trip. WEEEEEEEEE!!!

PC has caput …….. I think the icing was on the cake when Leonard marched into the Board Of Elections demanding that his group will set up the voting machines for the vote.
The response was a calm explanation of the policy set forth on who could help in setting up the machines. The news camera crew got a good shot at Leonard at his best I thought!

If you are referring to “it’s people” as people of Primary Challenge then yes, they are ones that created the raise and fall of PM.

How could you even suggest the people would be to blame?

Why didn't Rus Thompson select the PC?

Does anyone have an answer for this?

My guess would be that if Rus won the primary in one of the two dominant parties, that he'd get the concomitant support from that party.

This thread is now about the Gulf war, Bicycle tires, old Happy Days episodes on DVD, and the Baltimore Waterfront.

NO BIKER MAN I DID NOT.

My crystal balls says WNY politics will only intensify in the future, Taxes will go up, Less decent paying jobs will result, Tax payers will be given no choice but to pay for Ralpy boy staying in town with the Bills. We got to have that over priced team shish boom bah rah rah rah. There will law suits filed for being padded down out the gate to enter the stadium...... Of course Elmer Fudd and the Bass! We will tear down the AUD, build a new building and hand it over for free because we want a fish store so badly in down town. Of course the polititions will be given free merchandise as an incentive to make the right decision for us taxpayers. NYS wiull be forever at odds with teh indians and teh casinos.

All this and people will still be getting on SpeakupWNY and bitching about issues rather than correcting the issues.

    More crazytalk.

WNYR trains us to be against you.

I suppose pointing this to you is like going to a psych ward and telling all the patients to stop acting insane.
