Lackawanna City School Budget 2010

Skip the contingency budget its rigged. What we need to do is scrap whatever budgets they put out and totally redo things the right way with a control board in place.Why do we need so many teachers aides? I never had any when I went to LHS Class of 81. We sure as hell dont need any now just make the damn teachers do their JOBS!

Indeed, we do need to know about the School budget. Business taxes are sky high and the tax levy has everything to do with a business location. Without Empire Zone taxes in lieu of payments, etc. --Lackawanna would have many more empty buildings.
I feel we need definitely need a CONTROL BOARD in the City---and maybe the School folks would take heed and buck up in fear of one.
