Not good for the city.

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - The FBI now rates the city of Buffalo as number two, when it comes to violent crime in New York state.

The latest numbers from the agency show there were over 3,100 violent crimes reported in the Queen City last year. That works out to about 122 crimes for every 10,000 residents.

Only Newburgh, in the Hudson Valley, had a higher crime rate per capita than Buffalo.
