I believe the town supervisor for the Island is a full time job. Wonder how Mr Mcmurray who is a big time lawyer for delaware north co was going to be a full time supervisor and also a lawyer full time. I bet he is glad he lost for probably was in the race as almost a joke or to make a point. I would not think he would have quit his job for del north to earn like 80,000 as town super.

He's not gonna quit his other job - why should he ?

The Town Supervisor will continue to appear when needed and adjust his hours at both jobs. Its what they do - they take Elected or appointed positions for access to tax healthcare, tax funded retirement credits and other benefits.

In Lancaster we have a Town Councilman who collects a enhanced full tax funded pension and is still on the Town Board receiving full tax funded paycheck !

Our new elected Town Supervisor will be collecting a $67,000.00 tax funded pension and her full Town Supervisor pay starting January 1 st - its her choice to do this - voters elected them !

This loop whole should be stopped by the NYS Pension system - but nobody/voters/taxpayer don't seem to care !

He may choose to offer a "Grand Gesture" and say he will do his Supervisor job "Part time and reduce his pay to save tax dollars" - that's another ploy they use - he will still get all the tax funded benefits and work less as Supervisor enabling him to continue DN !
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !

Didn't we also have a FT supervisor that had a personal training business along with a property management business?

Please Gorja - neither was tax funded , he wasn't collecting a tax funded pension and he reduced his own pay, gave up the town car , reduced taxes for four years !
