The Grand Island man whose pit bull mauled and almost killed a neighbor’s pet over the summer agreed this week to pay the veterinarian’s bill for the injured pet.

Wolf told Judge Mark J. Frentzel that he will pay Moore $30 a month until the entire bill for Maggie’s injuries is paid. The judge gave Wolf a conditional discharge from a charge of failing to control his pit bull, Roscoe, when it attacked Moore’s dog on Wallace Road on Aug. 11.
$2900 / $30 = 96 months or 8 years.

Don't you think that is a little low as payments go?
