Read the Fulle Story in the Buffalo NewsThe Grand Island man whose pit bull mauled and almost killed a neighbor’s pet over the summer agreed this week to pay the veterinarian’s bill for the injured pet.
$2900 / $30 = 96 months or 8 years.Wolf told Judge Mark J. Frentzel that he will pay Moore $30 a month until the entire bill for Maggie’s injuries is paid. The judge gave Wolf a conditional discharge from a charge of failing to control his pit bull, Roscoe, when it attacked Moore’s dog on Wallace Road on Aug. 11.
Don't you think that is a little low as payments go?

Seeing the woman is 73 waiting 8 years to pay the bill in full seems like a long time.

I've been looking for a right dog but what I see at the SPCA is a dominate breed of pit bulls or pit bull mix thanks to Buffalo dog fighters who have cross bread this breed to an over dominate level. Pit bulls are a high strung breed with a fighting nature within their DNA. My homeowners insurance doesn't allow me to have certain breeds and pit bulls are right on their list.
This Wolf dude will most likely not pay her because he has a seasonal job most likely, making minimum wage. Anyone who has a high strung breed needs to take those extra percussion to protect the public and other owners dogs. Should dog owners of high strung breeds pay an extra breed tax on their dog insurance, for such of these type of problems ? If owners of such breeds who do not have them train the right way are walking around like having a loaded gun ready to go off, just saying.
