Another family line of mine is the Hasselbeck family. I descend from Jacob Hasselbeck - his brother Martin is the founder of the Hasselbeck Cheese Company. Both served in public service Jacob was an alderman for the City of Buffalo and Martin served on the Board of Supervisors representing Buffalo. Here is a picture of the Hasselbeck family home located at 541 Walden as it was in 1892:

That is them! During my research I learned that there are three clusters of Hasselbeck's in the U.S. - New York, Louisiana, and Ohio. All three are related and their common ancestors are Adam Hasselbeck and Maria Jostin who were married on February 27, 1764 in Ingenheim, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany .
