One of Normie's boys of course!!!!
Word is that Tom Radich resigned as Executive Director of the Lackawanna Municipal Housing Authority tonight. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so, who is his replacement?
Also, any idea on why Mr. Radich would resign so abruptly? He is a relatively young man, and it doesn't seem to make sense.
Its true Radich resigned took about $50,000.00 buyout and appointed Lorent Swanson to a three year contract. Now Radich has three pensions Water authority, city, housing. nice
Our Ceo of Lackawanna sent to the Commissioners on the of LMHA a letter (delivered by police officers) advising them their services were no longer needed. The letter was sent back advising him, he did not appoint them to their position. They were appointed by the tenants.
I've found this interesting: http://www.osc.state.ny.us/localgov/...kawannamha.htm
Looks like Normie got screwed.....first ward got chickens.....Norm got SWANSON!!!! Looks like LMHA stuck it to him good.....paybacks are a BIATCH!!! How many eggs are you sitting on Normie???? Looks like they are finally losing some power.....Good luck Laurent and CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Oh yeah-Oh yeah!
We're bad, We're bad!----Congratulations Laurent!!
So sorry to the rest of you, especially the 3rd floor of city hall!
I believe normie is the first mayor who never got a chance to appoint an Executive Director of LMHA, YOU LOST---and as the first woman elected to the Lackawanna City Council to the first mayor LOSER who failed to appoint a Director--I want to say, BOO-YA!
HaHaHaHa!
So what's the story? The first post asking why Tom Radich resigned has not been addressed.
What prompted the Mayor to do this? "Our Ceo of Lackawanna sent to the Commissioners on the of LMHA a letter (delivered by police officers) advising them their services were no longer needed."
POWER.....the only reason. He now lost that because he doesn't have "control" over the board. He will not be able to gain control of this board while he is still mayor.....one down.....couple more to go!!!
Correction.
He will gain control of the Board, but will not be able to appoint a new Executive Director through that controlling majority, because the current board (not aligned with Polanski), as a result of Radich's resignation, locked into a three year contract with the new ED last night.
Polanski will gain his majority next week, but they will not be able to vote in a new appointee without violating that three year employment contract.
