In keeping with feedback he's received since taking over the New York Power Authority last year, as well as a promise to increase the authority's local presence, Richard Kessel says the agency is opening a downtown Buffalo office.
The authority is leasing space at 95 Perry Street, a mixed-use, renovated century-old warehouse. NYPA is taking space on the building's fourth floor, putting it in the same building as the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. and the Buffalo office of the Empire State Development Corp.
