The Buffalo News just endorsed our next Sheriff of Erie County.

Glascott will walk the jails, promote training? Is he nuts? You mean he's not gonna sit there in his ivory tower and only read memo's and reports. You mean he will read them and actually go to the jails, sub-stations, etc and meet his employees? That's just crazy. Hopefully the voters of Erie County will vote with their wallets. Hopefully they will realize all the lawsuits the county is settling instead of fixing the problems, is costing the taxpayers millions and millions a year. The county is self insured, so the settlements come directly out of the GENERAL FUND (your taxes).
