Something the Mob would do
Most other cities have sold their municipal housing and are not in the business of owning and managing low income housing projects.
Most other cities have legislated mixed income housing in new buildings or developments.
So instead of their municipal housing being an expense to the city, it subsidizes private sector investment in the city creating jobs and creating future tax revenue.
Buffalo is focussing all its energy on hoarding land, perpetuating expensive services, patronage and civil service jobs and NOT FOCUSSING ANY MONEY ON INVESTMENT!
Something the Mob would do
So exactly what is the point of the the BHMA? These properties are not taxed so then the rent goes directly to the city? Who pays to maintain the properties?
How many friends or employees of the city live in city owned properties?
When can we look at there expense book? or thier perfectly kept records?
