    Who says so? You?
Yes. I say so, and, every business school in the country. What are your pension funds invested in, charities?
"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It's simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we've been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back."--Carl Sagan

Hey stalker. The discussion is about the maintenance and lack thereof of the Alaska pipeline.

You are one of the most unattentive posters on SUWNY. You can't even follow a simple thread. What a loser.

I know it is difficult, but, stay on topic...Corporate Responsibility and BP's lack of it by not properly maintaining it's pipeline.

Sometimes you bring back memories of when I used to teach 7th graders years back. Like you, they too had zero attention span.

The BP closure of the alaskan pipeline definately is NOT THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD. Seems odd to berate someone for being Off Topic when you guys are already down a tangent.

The thread has been off topic since almost the beginning. What prompted you to jump in now after 161 posts have been made?

As far as corporate responsibility is concerned, their only responsibility is to make a profit for the shareholders. That's what corporations do. A lot of people have BP in their retirement portfolio, government pensions included.
Hmm..isn't that how Love Canal got created...hmmm Private sector Business screwing future generations, then gov't and private sector business together having to repair the damage with the private sector shareholder getting screwed on the deal..ounce of prevetion = pound of cure

Why don't you ask Cindy what corporate responsibility means. She's an attorney and pro-business.

Cindy, help your friend out with a definition.
