Seneca Gaming has set an employment preview session for Thursday for those interested in working at the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, which is slated to open by December 2007.

The casino is expected to employ 1,000 people.

Those interested in a potential job at the casino, can come to the Adam's Mark Hotel between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to leave contact information as a prelude to a still-to-be determined official recruitment period. No formal applications will be accepted on Thursday.

"We want the community to know what career choices we can offer to them as we move forward with the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino project," said John Pasqualoni, Seneca Gaming president and CEO.

Job opportunities range from food and beverage operations to slot and table games operations to security to finance.

"This is an opportunity for them to learn more about our company as a potential employer and how their background and skills may fit what our needs are," Pasqualoni said.
