So you think the "elected" officials will make any attempt to help out the non-goverment worker/non-government business owner? Or just protect their small special interest groups that bribe them?

As history shows, they will probably help special interest groups that bribe them

Didn't he demand cuts last year and was pretty much stonewalled? Why would he think he's going to get cooperation this year? He has failed at almost every ultimatum he's given.

Sounds like this trip (for the most part) is not paid for by the taxpayers, but it shows a lack respect for the taxpayer all the same. We're left in fiscal chaos while they are touring the Great Wall... wtf???
And why are Leg. from NY, who have shown they know very little about bringing business here over there? Shouldn't that be left to the hundreds of Economic Development organizations that are supposed to be experts? What do all those organizations bring to the table for all the state money funneled to them?

These idiots in Albany will ignore him, because they know the focus is on him and his rating.
Therefore, they're going to use a sinking governor to allow themselves the status quo.

If I was Patterson, I'd stop trying to be diplomatic. It's time to just start calling everybody out.

I'd start with Stachowski. That idiot.

Ironically, Stack told Channel 4 that's it's "not their problem to deal with" he went on to blame the Governor and denied ANY responsibility....

He voted for the last budget. It IS his problem. He CREATED it and is letting the governor take the fall for it.

True sign of a complete scum bag.

I don't think he even knows. He went to Smith and said "massa how do i vote for dis bill".
Smith said " vote yes or else"
Stach said, "yes massas, if I vote yes, can you tell my people that i may get some great job but shoot me down again at the last momment?"

Yea, the last time he asked for their helping cutting expenses, we ended up with an 8% increase.
