Cool WS Assessor in News again

Interesting article in Sunday's Buffalo News about former West Seneca Assessor Ed Hummell (sp?). (Sorry, I don't have the article up in front of me).

Seems interesting he "low-balled" the assessments on all these properties, but they can't find a payoff, cash, or any other "reason". All they can "get" him for is playing canadian slots on work hours. Big deal.

I'll bet Mr. County Exec candidate Paul Clark and the rest of the West Seneca Town Board are shaking in their boots, waiting for the real story to hit.

There must be a reason or more to this!

    What do others think??

If someone did a little digging I bet they could find stuff like this in most towns around here.

Didn't they mention Benderson's assessments? He owns a lot of property around here.

A investigation should include town "politically" connected homeowners/employees/police home assessments. I was told there would be a few eye openers there but I didn't know how reliable the source was.

    Cool

Someone told me Mr. Lorigo represents Benderson for West Seneca stuff.

Lorigo and Clark are best pals.

    You do the math.

That sounds a little too far fetched. The pattern would be too obvious if this was happening in each town with the same company/lawyer don't you think?

The fact that the guy apparently had a gambling problem doesn't shine too well on him.

    Nevertheless, this statement is nonsense
