Did anyone hear about the lady who gave birth to 6 babies in buffalo?

I was wondering if anybody heard about this. I was thinking about sending a box of diapers if they were excepting any kinds of donations or if their are charities to help.

I don't know if they even need anything. Does anybody have information on this?

I did hear about it. The couple is from Lockport and the birth was a 1 in @ 65million natural occurence.
I really feel for these people. When you have AI or take fertility drugs, you know you are running a high chance of a multiple birth. These people had a plain old natural fluke!
I heard that they also have a set of twins (natural also!) at home.

Uh, not true. These two Walmart employees had been trying to have another child for years. They consulted a fertility specialist and she was injected with Ovidrel, a hormone that has a side effect of multiple births. Anyone want to take bets as to wether or not they have health insurance? Who is going to foot this bill?

And doesn't Childrens Hospital fall under Erie County? Will Niagara County pay?

Since most of what I heard has been wrong, I could be here too! they are married. I personally know of 4 couples who are married with a bride who kept their own name.

From a 2009 article I found out of New York City: Records show that in 2005, almost a quarter of Wal-Mart’s employees were uninsured or on the state Medicaid program, with all costs being paid by the taxpayers. Plus, half the children of Wal-Mart employees were in the same boat as their parents. Then, I guess that is to be expected when the company provides the information on how to apply for Medicaid, instead of offering health care options. Employees, at that time, who had insurance, were paying four times as much as the national average out of their pockets – up to approx. sixteen percent of their wages.

Since that time, due to pressure from unions, Wal-Mart has changed their ways somewhat and now offers more than half its employees health insurance coverage.

If a couple with 2 children has the money to pay for artificial fertilization than they should also be responsible for the costs associated with giving birth to a litter of kids!

Fat chance getting a book deal or reality show on that one...at 250 thousand per kid to raise until 18....Who has that kind of dough?

Ps did you scare Brandon off again, or was it the entire SUWNY crew?

One would think, but, since this is NYS, this couple probably got taxpayer subsidized infertility treatment.
