Cuomo pushes ethics reforms, saying ‘Enough is enough’

On the day when the state Assembly elected its first new speaker in 20 years, Gov. Andrew Cuomo pledged that unless state lawmakers approve a sweeping set of reforms governing those elected to New York state offices, he will not sign off on the 2015 budget package.

"There have been too many scandals in Albany," Cuomo said. "Enough is enough. People have to have trust in their state government and they don't today."
He basically tried to cover up what his members of his "social club" were up to by blocking the group he supposedly started to stop corruption in the first place.
