They get Kroll back in. They are sneaky!

So what I hear from a Town Hall worker is that Kroll didn't finish in the top 3 or even 6 on the Civil Service test. So they interviewed the top tier saying the job was part time for most of the year and full time for the summer. The tactic was to discourage the top tier from taking the job. Making it difficult for people that already had a full time job or part time job. This tactic got them down the list to Kroll. Then when they got to him they changed the hours to fit him. They told him he can work whatever hours he wanted because he already recieved another civil service job. In a couple months you will see the job become full time. Kroll will then leave the other position and get what he wanted all along. Then they will stall as long as they can from giving another civil service test which they will have to do because the job is now fulltime where as the first was advertised as part time. I don't really care if they get Meegans son in there for the job but I just find it amusing how they pull off this stuff. Is there some sort of corrupt gov. course you take to learn all these tactics? LOL

Remember this come next election. You clearly see the type of people you have currently on your town board. Does not look like the town's best interest is being considered. I'm probably wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if some of your town board belong to the www.ecdems.com

Today we hear this Patronage stuff all the time - years ago we heard about it years after it happened.

Why do tax payers just accept this as if its the norm - maybe because for "Party PLayers" it is !

Tax payers have no true say in the matter - if you vote Party Line - you support their actions. If you send money to their committee - you support their actions.

In another matter, Director of Recreation Craig Kroll has resigned his position with the town.

Although nothing was announced, Meegan stated during the meeting that the town would begin interviews next week for the position, starting with the top three scored candidates.

“We have to interview the top three; it’s the law,” she said.

Meegan said Kroll will receive an interview request from the town because he completed the test, but was not one of the top results. She said he has accepted a federal job and Lauren Masset, a clerk with the town who has been part of the department’s operations, will fill the position temporarily along with another part-time employee.

Meegan said she hopes the position will be filled by Oct. 20.

On the question, Councilman Hart spoke on behalf of Mr. Kroll who was unable to attend the meeting, noting he is happy to return and will be starting work tomorrow.

Supervisor Meegan thanked Lauren Masset for her work in the Recreation Department and commented on the outstanding job she did with Santa’s Breakfast which included the YES Program and Theatre of Youth.

And now it appears he is gone again.

    Why??

Why is the memo and stamp dated 1/12/15? Its only 1/9/25 today. Why is she writing it and not him? Why would she authorize the supervisor when thats her? Very shady.

I believe the communication is stamped January 12 as that is the date of the board meeting. It was communication #2.

All very good questions. In order to get an answer from Meeghan, Hart or Henley pertaining to Kroll at the next Town Board. Meeting you will not be able to ask them directly but submit your questions on paper and allow the three 5 days to come up with an answer.

    Lightbulb

Another thing people can do is to submit their questions in writing to the Board - ask them to be entered as a "Communication to all Board Members" when giving them to the Town Clerk or who ever at the Board Meeting. This makes it a legal communication and must be entered into the records. Now you have proof of questiona and answer should you receive one.

You can also post the content of your questions here and or send a copy to the Buffalo News.

The more public you make it - the more they have to deal with their actions. The Buf News can verify your name with you and with hold it from the paper - its to protect you and them.

Keep pushing them into the light!

New rumors on the topic. Sources tell me that Kroll already has a full time civil service job and he did not get clearance to allow him to work the part time Recreation Director Town position. He intended to work both jobs with hopes the Town would soon make the Recreation Director full time. Then he would leave his other government paid position. The rich get richer. Must be nice to have friends in high places.

Thumbs down This is what Party Playin Politicians do to support their friends and themselves

Another tax feed double dipping Party Player. He could jump up when this position is made full time - increase his tax funded pay and life time tax funded pension by combineing the credits from both postitions.

Also, even if he stayed part time and ketp his full time position - both are tax funded and carry tax funded benefits and pensions. He could combine his part time income credits with the full time and get a larger averaged tax funded pension.

These type games are played by Party Insiders all the time - all tax funded - now just think about - not one person on that Elected Town Board can pretend they don't support this - they arrange it - they approve it - they vote to make it legal.
