OK which mayor would actually fix this?

Ok, which mayor would be more likely to repair these?

These are the light standards where the music is art event took place.

Buffalo New York Music is Art

Buffalo New York Music is Art

    Quite a few are broken.

If Brown is talking a surplus and lowering taxes why isn't a little spent on these? You know how crappy that looks when any out of towner comes to visit the area.

This kearn would have staff that would be on top of this stuff specially if there was a surplus that could be used for city repair items?

Well, seeing that no one else has

I'll report it to the 311 line on Monday. I guess DPW has to call NiMo for the lens repair from what hubby just told me.

And when they're fixed, the same little darlings with their pellet guns will come and wreck them again.

With all those additional cops on the street, as Brown would have us believe, maybe they can catch those little darlings!

So why isn't the community starting up walking groups to catch the little darlings? Apparently the parents are not involved with them if they believe it's fine to destroy other people's property.

    Don't give them any ideas!!!!

A walking group would require grant money to get started! We'd have to buy them sneakers, shirts, coats, gloves, hats and have a huge bloated administration staff to run it all!

We're better off to just keep fixing the lights!

Volunteers... it's your community. It's your community why let someone screw it up.

    Easy to say.

While that's easy to say, consider that this particular area is behind the AK Art Gallery, across from Hoyt Lake, across from the Historical Building, and the Marcy Casino, and Delaware Park's Rose Garden. When its daytime and the area is bustling with folks its fine, but come 10 pm it goes dark and silent, for the most part. Yes, traffic comes through to use the on-ramp to the 198N, but lacking in residential, and so it would have to be posses set up- and how likely is that when the assumption Buffalo Police patrol these areas and it is their job. If this were a "Neighborhood Watch" situation it might work, but it isn't.

I must admit, I was there for the MIA event and never looked up, and extend kudos for the person who did and reported this (via posting on SUWNY)!

He endorses by consensus and not unilaterally as Party Chair. He seeks the consensus of town and village chairs, city zone chairs and the Party Executive Committee. Personally, I believe Len Lennihan has been the fairest, most inclusive, and has performed his duties as chair with honesty and the highest integrity. He may have detractors, but the truth is he is a straight shooter and has brought as much unity to this disjointed party as possible.

He's paid by the members of the EC Democratic Committee, party fundraisers, and the support of elected official (out of their personal funds and/or campaign funds) and NOT the taxpayer.

Go ahead and despise the guy, but when you malign him, do it factually.

Oh he's just doing what he's paid to do. Get democrats elected. Doesn't seem to have a conscience of what they do after they are elected but that's not his worry.

And, evidenced by Obama's staff, we all know Democrats aren't taxpayers.

    GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, ENOUGH!!!
