    Your Health Care

Are you satisfied with the current health care system and your own health care insurance?

    I'm fairly satisfied.
I think that we need to fix what we already have.
There are limits on what doctors can charge for most services, there should be limits on what one can obtain in a law suit.
Hold pharmaceutical companies accountable for the exorbitant prices they charge.
When someone on Medicaid goes to the emergency room for something other than the threat of life or limb, their monthly check should be docked. Going to the ER for menstrual cramps (yes, this actually happens) is not an emergency.
Make it lucrative for MDs to accept Medicaid. A lot won't accept Medicaid because Medicaid doesn't pay very well and takes so incredibly long to pay the measly amounts that they do pay.
Medicare should be Medicaid for the elderly. Whatever they need, take care of them. That's all, end of story. Never mind the different parts, just one program for the elderly and go with that. Pharmaceutical companies should be held accountable for the prices they charge for medications used by the elderly. Maybe there should be s senior discount for these medications. No more than $5 copay for each prescription for those 65 and older. No matter what the medication is.
So, yeah, more regulations. Regulate the pharmaceutical companies. Re-regulate Medicaid and Medicare. If this makes it better than the lousy insurance company that I currently have, let me in on the deal, but don't force me to pay more for my private healthcare insurance, Medicare and Medicaid and whatever else they feel they can charge for.

I may have to wait for at most an hour to see my Doctor. I don't want to wait a month.

I currently have excellent health coverage, but I know it's unsustainable.

I am dissatisfied with the current health care system. I am in favor of universal health care.

I have good health care as of right now. The US Army has some of the best docs in the world. Im not in favor of universal health care if illegals are included.

See? Even the former Soviet Union has universal health care!
    France! Great Britain! Germany! Italy!

But in the United States where big pharma, big insurance, their medical and other filthy animal medical lobbies run the show millions go without.

I have decent health care coverage but I have had issues in the past getting coverage for things. Luckily i have been lucky to deal with people working in health care who are willing to work with me.
