Chuck Schumer: We Shouldn’t Have Passed Obamacare In 2010 [VIDEO]
Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer threw Obamacare under the bus Tuesday, charging that Democrats should not have passed the law in 2010.

Schumer, the third-ranking Senate Democrat, spoke Tuesday at the National Press Club in Washington about the Democrats’ losses in this year’s elections. He encouraged Democrats to embrace government despite their electoral crash but also admitted that the Democratic House and Senate should not have passed Obamacare.

But the Democrats and Chuck Schumer did support Obamacare and own it.

Democrats should have focused on directly helping the middle class, Schumer argued.

The Democrats and Chuck Schumer didn't help the middle class.

    Perfect example of politics.

    One side gets elected.
Pushing a massive agenda and goes too far.
Voters kick back and kick them out.
They claim they focused on the wrong points.
Let it sit for a year or two.
Go back and ask for another chance.
Get it when the other party does the same.

The two party system is killing this nation.

It doesn't matter what Chuck U. Schumer says, he'll get re elected every time. Stupid voters here in NYS.

Chuck can make all the excuses in the world for the failure that is Obamacare. I don't see him, Gilibrand, Reed, Pelosi or any of them making an effort to reverse the devastating effects of this bomb. Is the local party boss here in town going to chime in yet?

I'll repeat myself. We need to work from the bottom up. Remove the support group that supports this nonsense.

Our town board in Cheektowaga basically has the Cheektowaga Democratic Party working out of our highway department and previously it was in our sanitation department. They town board will turn a blind eye to it because they just want to keep getting elected. Simple as that. They will even over look issues because no one want to step on someone's toes. If you notice you'll see members of our town board at all the various fundraisers for the Erie County Democrats. This support works it was up to the state level and then federal level. I'm pretty sure this BS happens at other towns in Erie County besides Cheektowaga. If Chuck came to visit Cheektowaga i'm pretty we would see photo ops.

    2016.

The only way he won't be back in office again is if he drops dead.

He pushed ObamaCare. He should realize you are held accountable for what you do.

Chuck Schumer quietly starts distancing Democrats from Obama for 2016.

I’m just going to summarize it: Senator Chuck Schumer today ever-so-casually indicated that working first on Obamacare was a mistake; that, in fact, Congress should have instead worked on pretty much anything else besides Obamacare; and that Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY)0% himself opposed starting first on Obamacare, but all those Obama supporters in the Obama administration were so adamant that Obamacare be put in place right away. Also: how about that absent-from-the-Obamacare-debate Hillary Clinton, huh? You know what her middle name isn’t? That’s right: Obamacare.

Chuck Schumer: Passing Obamacare in 2010 Was a Mistake

November 25, 2014 Sen. Chuck Schumer upbraided his own party Tuesday for pushing the Affordable Care Act through Congress in 2010.

While Schumer emphasized during a speech at the National Press Club that he supports the law and that its policies "are and will continue to be positive changes," he argued that the Democrats acted wrongly in using their new mandate after the 2008 election to focus on the issue rather than the economy at the height of a terrible recession.

"After passing the stimulus, Democrats should have continued to propose middle-class-oriented programs and built on the partial success of the stimulus, but unfortunately Democrats blew the opportunity the American people gave them," Schumer said. "We took their mandate and put all of our focus on the wrong problem—health care reform."

What is Charles Schumers stance on amnesty? Let him and the NYS/local democratic party own that to beside ObamaCare.

2015 - This will be the year of back tracking for Dems - they will distance them selves from Obamacare and War .

Western New York is the prime voter territory for the Upstate Dems - they will be paying omage to our needs. Voters will gladly follow the Billions for Buffalo Pied Piper and his buddy No Guns Schumer.

The only upside is we will finaly get some benefit for all the years of our taxes flowing upstate. -
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !
