White House sent 3 officials to Michael Brown funeral but 0 to James Foley memorial

White House sent three officials to Michael Brown funeral but ZERO to James Foley memorial service
    • Memorial mass for Foley in New Hampshire came and went Sunday without a White House emissary
    • Both New Hampshire senators were there, along with the state's governor and the town's congresswoman
    • White House says Obama's weigh-in came last week on Martha's Vineyard when he delivered a stirring five-minute statement (and then played golf)
    • Three administration officials attended the Brown funeral on Monday in St. Louis, including two from the White House Public Engagement Office
    • Attorney General Eric Holder also trekked to Missouri last week to mug for cameras and oversee an FBI civil rights investigation

This of course was reported in the dailymail in the uk. Did not pick up anything on the main newspapers in the US. Go figure.

So? Foley was an adult voluntarily went into a war zone despite having been captured and held captive in Libya a year before. He knew the danger. He wasn't an unarmed teenager in his own neighborhood shot 6 times by a local cop.

So ISIS has another hostage. This time it's a a 26-year-old American woman who was doing humanitarian relief work in Syria.

I would fear the worst for her but this administration has already traded with terrorists. But if the worst does happen, I would assume that multiple people from the administration would be sent to the services. After all, women is another progressive checkbox like minorities.

Hit only six times, but there appears to be an audio recording (some guy making internet whoppie was recording himself) on which is heard 6 shots, a short pause, then 4 more shots. Might be fake though.

Heh, you folks are freaking amazing.

It would be one thing if you said the WH should not have sent officials to either events (which would have been the right move) but you just can't help from digging a hole.

Nope. He should have sent a rep to the Foley memorial because Foley was a victim of people who claim they will destroy us. They are our world enemies.

Brown is still at issue. He may have been a victim of police brutality, or a perpetrator justifiably shot, or an unfortunate victim of negligence. The Pres should not get involved at this point. If it turns out Brown was a perp trying to injur or kill the police officer, will the Pres apologize to the cop for sending reps to the perps funeral?

I see your point but unless you go to all of them you should not go to any of them..a 'fair share' of the staff time and all.

FWIW, nobody at the WH should be near Ferguson. It's just a ghetto thug who was shot for attacking a police officer.

I asked this a while ago and have seen no stated clear answer - how many rounds did the officer have in his clip/magazine ? What type of bullets were used?

If a person is having trouble seeing from serious eye injuries - why are the shots all on one side - almost in a straight line ? Just a question - no assumptions either way !

As I stated before - the laws are slanted to favor the Cop/LEO - this will be spun and twisted in the press/media for at least two years +/-.

While at the same time regurgitated by the judicial system on multiple levels - could there - will there ever be a clear answer?

The young man is dead - the Cops life is ruined. Those two facts will never change !

President Obama said, "Justice must be served" -

Justice serves but one master, in this case - who will that be ?

    ________________________

    Nogods stated,

Second, LEO's are not trained in shoot to wound.

Third, any LEO who claims he tried to only wound a perp should not have been firing his weapon in the first place and should never be allowed to own a firearm.

Anyone, LEO or otherwise, who has to shoot at a person had better be trying to hit the target in the most critical mass and better dam well know that a bullet in any part of the body can cause death just from blood loss.

Whether he fired 6 or 10 shots, he was firing lethal shots, whether he thought so or not.
