Exactly. You, me or anyone else do not owe anyone anything. It's like being told you have to shop at Macy's instead of walmart for the same service you can get at walmart. I"m not belittling anyone either.
Get rid of all the pensions. I'm sorry but the Town of Amherst pays it's mechanics 65K a year plus bennies, they guy down the street at Monro will do the same job for 50K without a pension!

I don't have a pension. I take exception to picking my pocket for other public servant pensions when i don't even have one for myself.
But you don't understand the power of the union vote, err, the union membership. And besides they deserve pensions guaranteed by all those non-union workaholics.
**free is a trademark of the current U.S. government.
And that's my fault how? Why didn't you look for a job that would provide you with the proper bennies? You probably don't have health care either!
Why do some folks seem to think that they can make themselves feel better by being negative towards others.
Don't bellyache; work towards setting up a retirement plan, either through your work or through your saving.
Or run for state senate; I hear that there'll be a lot of openings come next election day. And I know you can't do a worse job than those bozos in Albany are/aren't doing right now.
Think you can trust the government?
