    Thumbs up Buy a Flag- Support Our City

    Did you know the City has an official flag? Did you also know it is hard to find it, even in City Hall! Here's a great idea to get the flag flying throughtout the city and region- Band together and purchase in bulk (50) from Ace Flag and they're $41.25. A nice way to show some pride. Ethan Cox has the idea, and here's the link:

    Even if you aren't interested in buying, there's some neat information on the history of the flag.

    Definitely the most poltical corrupt city in the WORLD !
    The Mass exitus of population !
    The Long Bitter Cold Winters ! (Snow Snow & more Snow !)
    The East Side Slums & Crack Houses
    the Dreamers living in Mr. Rogers world of make believe
    Dreams of a new Peace Bridge, Bass Pro(66+ Milllion $ had out)
    Federal Court Buiding, and the Casino ( what happen to DL&W
    Site) Now I here theirs more problems with the new Site ???????

    I like Arizona, too. But I also like this area. I stored my bike in Chandler. That's right. Next door to Gilbert. So if you keep this up, I'm gonna be paying you a visit next month.

    I love Ace Flag. We've got flags for Mardi-Gras, Easter, Holloween and Spring.

    I'd love to have the City's flag; it's pretty good looking. Lots o' history on it, too.

    So, if it's not bulk purchase, what does one of these bad boys set you back?

    The price is in the link- $180. (OUCH)

    They don't make them unless they're special ordered. According to Ethan (who wrote the story), the last order was from Buffalo Place who put the flag up around Fountain Plaza and elsewhere and that was a few years ago. :-/

    I'm going to buy one and donate it to a school, business or the City.

    In case you've been sleeping- there is an effort to get more of the official City of Buffalo flags flying. Right now I believe they have over 30 committments and need about 20 more. However, now it looks like the owners of Ace Flag are going to work a deal. Stay tuned, but get signed up if you're interested.
