I'm just here to make people laugh. And to confuse people. Oh, and to irritate people.
We only have a few rules in the house and she knows them well.

it's Sparky!
I had a cocker spaniel from 1993-2000. Her name was Lucky. She was well behaved until my daughter came along. I think the new addition, changed Lucky's disposition.
My ex husband took her when he left. A few weeks later, without our knowledge, he brought her to the pound and had her put to sleep
What is it with exhusbands and pets?
Anyway, no more dogs for now. I've learned that as much as kids say they'll walk, feed, and play with a new dog, I don't by it. It'll end up being just another thing I'll have to do. And we leave town a few times a year. Cats can take care of themselves for a few days. Dogs can't.

I LOVE dogs. They are the best, even though they are more work than cats. Our dogs eventually got old and sick, and had to be....well, you know. They died w/in six months of each other. Their names: Lady and Tramp.Originally posted by WNYresident

Do you still have all your fingers, rising?
I ask because I'm the "Treat Lady" to all the dogs that walk in Bergman Park here in Jamestown (my car is also known as the "Treatmobile" because I keep a plastic box in the trunk from which I dispense the goodies), and while most Golden Retrievers are very gentle, they are very serious about catching treats -- or maybe they just don't have very good eye-mouth coordination.
Anyways, keep the pinks well away from those snapping teeth!
I will post some pix of my pooch, Rusty, and some of his buddies from Bergman, this evening.
