    NYS Water Bottle Party

I was just thinking, maybe New Yorkers should save all of their water bottles, and have a state-wide "Water Bottle Party" on June 1, 2009.

Let's dump all of our water bottles, in harbors across the state, just as colonists did with tea back in 1773.

    What do you think?

It's not good for the lake unless everyone would go and fetch their bottle afterwards..

Feather one in a public place. Start scaring them. Maybe that's the only way the non-government worker/business person is going to get their point across. Otherwise all we are doing is yelling in the wind and they are not listening.

Maybe if Brian Higgans is as disgusted about this budget as he says he is, maybe he'd vol for this?

why not have one big water bottle party where it counts.... the steps of the state capital building! Invite the whole state to get some real numbers. This way the media can't play it off as just a small bunch of losers. But if we are going to do it lets get it done BEFORE the 5 cent deposit goes into effect. The mess will have to be picked up by paid city workers. Let Albany foot the bill!

I was just thinking the same thing. Either that, or we could dump them in the harbors and make Baby Joe Mesi retrieve them.

I believe in recycling. What I need to know is how the state will offset this new source of revenue? Money should only be used for green projects.. not patronage.

The same goes for the new Red Light Cameras. It should be used to reduce the budget. It will not happen that way.. It will go for salary increases and new patronage.
Kiss someone that's different. It helps.
Lets get the facts first, then go for the jugular!!
It's all transparent, just read between the lines..
