Scenic Drives, Fall Foliage, Cider Mills, etc.

I know they're out there, but I don't really know where they are. Mayer Bros. took over that building by Glen Falls to sell cider, but I don't know if they make it there. Still, it's a very beautiful park & building.

What does everyone else recommend? Looking for anything here...

Mayer Brothers cider is made on the corner of Seneca Creek and transitin West Seneca, right near the intersection of Clinton and Transit. It's a neat place to check out.

I love fall. The best place to find the foliage is down in the Southerntier. Went to Pumpkinville a few years back Zoar Valley was breath-taking.

Does anyone know what the foliage is like in the Souther Tier now? The leaves are JUST starting to change around my house in N Buffalo. This weekend or next are really the only times when I can get out and see the fall, so I'm worried I might miss it.

Hmmm... the Weather Channel says that all of WNY is at peak... I guess all of these maples by my house have converted to evergreen!

Last week I saw on the news that the Southerntier is at a 50-70% peek, the City areas is about 40-45% Given that's about a week ago, now would be the best time to travel south.

    take images to share here

Leaves here in Collins (4 miles from Zoar Valley) are at 50 to 70 %. WGRZ.com has a link on their website. Enjoy!

The plan is to probably hit Pumpkinville and either Allegany or Zoar fur some purdy colors. I'll probably only have a disposable with me... I'll scan them in after I get them developed.

A lot of photo places can develop single-use camera on to a CD-rom. It costs a little more, but very convienient for sharing over the internet.

    Thumbs up Rt. 17 Freeway

Now there's a nice ride. No tolls no stopping. Good time to go.

I've had those done before, but I'm always disappointed with the quality... I'd rather get the second set of prints. Actually, I'd rather get a digital camera. Actually, I'd rather get a new desktop PC than a digital camera. These things take time. No go yesterday, so maybe I'll get down there today.
