The handful of times I've actually listened to him in the last couple of years, he hasn't said it. He still has the same closing that he's done since 9-11, but dropped the "God bless" part.

I wonder who made him edit out the, "GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA," from the closing of his show.

he did say something about this but really never really gave a up front answer. I would have to say his bosses from Entercom, LLC and InterTech Media, told him to zip it.

surfin' I think he did check this MB out last night also & we did PM......When I read his "Header" , it sounded this AM like he may have something to say about blogs & MB's again......but he rolled right into the housing taxes , then the NYC fraud guy , then a guy who drinks too much who works at city hall.........BTW , Bauerle said the guy works for Brown , he doesn't , he works for the City Comptroller Andy Sanfilippiano......a total separate entity from the mayoral side of the city , totally independant from Brown . I couldn't catch the entire show , missed the first half hour , then with getting in & out of my vehicle , missed chunks here & there , but no mention of MB's from what I heard.............sorry , for the erroneous error of something I misconstrued............

I think he's spoken out again school unions and stuff. Exactly what would you want him to target? You can't make parents better parents just by saying they are bad parents. I personally don't think some parents take an active roll in the raising of their own kids.

The public schools in New York are going to be fixed. Did you not hear about the idea from Sen. Antoine Thompson.

He wants to give every person in the public sector 2 days off, per child, to participate in their child's education. This is in addition to, on average, the 15 days of sick time, 15 days of vacation and 16 personal and holidays.

So a employee with 2 kids, would get an additional 4 days of time off. This would bring the total time off for the average worker to 50 days off per year. Or 10 weeks out of the 52 weeks in a year.

Add to this, President Obama wants to triple funding for schools. This is on top of what I think was a doubling of funding under President Bush. But President Obama "promises" to get tough with Teachers.


So I guess it is all going to work out.
