Well CNN did do a report month ago during the election that in some states they have dractically less costs for the SAME plan in places like the midwest and south. I THOUGHT they said in those states you could insure a familly for $4k or 5K a year which is WAY less than here in NYS! I guess wasn't that the point of McCain allowing people to litterally shop different states for health care?

My company offers complete coverage for our single employees.
Family coverage costs the employee $135/week.

    Totals costs for coverage.
    $449 for individuals/month.
    $1,079 for family/month.

Whoops, health care has gone up. I now pay 77.40 per week. For a yearly total of 4024.80 ans 5.53 weekly for dental. Total health care and dental is $4312.36 per year. I really wish I worked for the state or some other "you owe me" union. Then I would get a raise of 4312.36 per year. Why can't I get someone to pay this for me? Oh, wait, I just heard that Obama is going to pick up the tab. Wave the magic wand and wallah, no more health care payment. Oh, I hope I never wake up and see that this money has to actually come From somewhere. Darn, I hate reality!

I am one of three owners(construction trade)
It was a mere 2 years ago that we started making family enrollies start contributing.

Right now we're busting arse to keep from laying off anyone.

We will be looking for a warehouse person come April.
How are you with a forklift?

    waaaaaaaaaay too much

$569.20 per month for SINGLE coverage (granted with lowest deductibles and co-pays of any plan available to me, but STILL...)

    $6,830.40 per year

...and that doesn't include the second, separate policy we carry for my wife!
