I beleive Pine Ridge is a county road and the NYSDOT might not touch east or west of the intersection @ Genesse. The county has no $ to fix roads.
A few years ago, NYS rebuilt Genesee St. west of Union Rd. to the city line. At Pine Ridge Road, nothing was done to the pavement 100 feet each side of Genesee. Two years ago, Pine Ridge was repaved by Erie County and widened to 4 lanes, new signage indicating that the road as now Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd (a very BIG sign, indeed). The pavement 100 feet either side of Genesee was untouched and full of holes. Last summer, Genesee St. was once again resurfaced. The approaches to Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd were left unpaved, bumpy, patched.
I've called the Town of Cheektowaga, but I just get the runaround. Who is responsible for this 200 feet of roadway? It seems like no-man's-land!

Now that a Walgreens is going in on that corner, I wonder if they will do anything to the road.
