Maybe in your fantasy land rights are just floating in the air, but in the real world rights are what we the people decide we want to be rights.

Natural law does exist for the living man, its the fictitious corporate entity that your birth certificate attempts to make of you that is forced to live under "rights" created "through our self-governing arrangement" - which in itself is another fictitious corporate entity that only has jurisdiction over us - the living man - if we assume the identity of the fictitious corporate entity listed on a birth certificate and enter into a contract with them. Natural law says we have certain rights as a living being, and self-protection is one of them. Try imposing corporate law on nature, and let me know how that works out for you.

Putting NFA items in a trust or business has benefits beyond going around recalcitrant law enforcement. It makes estate planning much easier and also provides a way for multiple people to share ownership and each be able to be in sole possession of the item(s) at any given time, rather than the named owner being required to always be in possession when the item is out of the safe. Of course, it is illegal for anyone to allow a “prohibited person,” such as a convicted felon, to have access to an NFA item, whether that person is a part owner of the company or not.

This summer the ATF issued a proposal for changing the regulations. Unfortunately, their proposed changes solve few real problems while creating more.
