I friend just asked me why I am so bitter about the above situation. First I said I am a Taxpayer paying over 4k a year. I am a retired professional with a masters degree and retired making 47k a year, and at that job I worked my rear off getting no OT and putting in more than 60 hours a week. Its important to inform people what's going on. But most important is I just got my new laptop-wireless and am able to go online now and do this. I hope you don't mind?

Most of these are pretty important jobs; ones which a good amount of education is required. Your own personal story notwithstanding, I think that most people with this level of education should be making good money.

I don't have a problem with the highly educated government workers making good money - they need to be paid well in order to attract them. What I do have a problem with, is the assistant laborers making $45-$50k/year.

I respect all the above jobs but I posted this to make fun and show everyone how stupid it is to pay a West Seneca Rec-Senior Director such a outrageous salary and that person has no qualifications. I respect all the other positions but that one. Its a friend and family plan costing the taxpayers way to much, and the funny thing about it is shes complaining its to hard and shes underpaid.

Isn't the act of her authorizing her own overtime against policy considered theft?

What makes this even worse, is that she took two (2) civil service tests and couldn't pass either one. So they make up a title and appoint her so she doesn't have to pass a test like mos if not ALL full time employees. Tell me that's not favoritism and the friends and family plan working at its best!

It's true. She has had three job title since being hired. When you can't pass a test, they make up another title that tries to fit the job requirements.

You have to use that comment carefully. Appointments are made by the republican party also.

She was hired because she is Sheila best friend. They go back a long way and have been extremely close.
