Rapists found to get Medicaid-funded Viagra
ALBANY - Convicted rapists and other high-risk sex offenders in New York are getting Viagra paid by Medicaid, according to State Comptroller Alan G. Hevesi, who has asked the federal health secretary to stop the practice.

Only here in New York! Just when you think they can't get any more incompetent, I hear about this!

I'm forced to wonder what the cost to taxpayers was? I know that Viagra prescriptions covered under our cadillac medicaid plan cost taxpayers in this state $21 million last year alone!

$21 million!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose this falls under "quality of life"?

What's even better is that they can get a free taxi ride - paid for by Medicaid - to and from the hospital to get their Viagra.
