    HOW IT WORKS:
    *
Every internet server has access to the ip addresses of the clients (users) who open pages or files located on the server, the ip address is necessary for communication between them to happen. What this page does, is allow users to read the ip addresses from the log after their uploaded picture has been opened. To view the recorded log for your image, enter image filename, folder name and password in the "Access image log" box. (Similar to a normal login form)

    USAGE:
    *
You can upload a picture here and send the link to somebody. When they open/view the image, they appear in the log on Fuglekos.com, and you can read the log information. The image link can be used in forum signatures to get the ip address of all the people reading all threads you have written something in, or in a forum reply to capture the ip addresses of those who read that particular thread. You can send it to somebody on e-mail or chat and get their ip address when they open it.

Here is one example of a school district making tough decisions...

    Silver Creek

    School Board abolishes 13 positions

    By Susan Chiappone

    Chautauqua Correspondent

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Board of Education abolished several teaching and other positions Wednesday evening at its meeting in the boardroom of the high school campus.

School Board President Matt Bogosian said, “It is upsetting and sad to abolish this number of positions.”

Positions to be eliminated for the coming school year include:

    • Two full-time teaching assistant positions currently held by Jeffrey Piersant and Elizabeth Birner.

    • Two full-time social worker positions, currently held by John Peglowski and Dina McDaneld.

    • One half-time business teacher position, held by Anthony Montoro.

    • One full-time special-education position, held by David Skalski.

    • A half-time home and careers position, held by Jennifer Waterman, and a half-time music teacher position held by Jean-Nicole Zenns.

In addition, the board is eliminating five positions that are not currently filled with permanent employees: a full-time English language arts teacher, a half-time French teacher, a part-time attendance clerk, part-time teacher aide and a bus monitor.

In other matters, Interim School Superintendent David Kurzawa noted that attendance at the district was 95.4 percent for April in the elementary school and 91.7 percent in the high school.

The district adopted a “paperless” policy for board meeting agendas and, starting with the current board meeting, each agenda will be available for public viewing on the school website about four days prior to themeeting.

School Board members accepted two new scholarships for members of the class of 2012. One is in memory of former graduate and teacher Fran Burchett and the other is a 50-year commemorative scholarship from the Class of 1962.

Board balks at cutting elementary music, art programs

    By Thad Komorowski

    NIAGARA CORRESPONDENT

    Published:May 24, 2012, 8:26 AM

SANBORN -- The Niagara-Wheatfield School Board directed its administrators to return next week with a 2012-13 budget that carries a property tax increase of no more than 5 percent.

Although the board was presented Wednesday with a proposed budget that reflected a tax increase of a little more than 4 percent, board members were not comfortable with all the suggested cuts it contained.

Late into the three-hour workshop, board president Steven Sabo took an informal poll of the five members present on the 21 cuts administrators recommended to bring the proposed tax hike down from 9.9 percent.

The only areas they would not agree to cut were the elementary art and music programs, which were targeted for the elimination of six teaching positions for a collective savings of $360,000. According to the discussion, the cuts would have virtually ended the formal instruction of both programs except for what classroom teachers could bring to the children.

Sabo said he wanted administrators to recommend "other options" for saving the same amount of money. The board will meet at 7 p.m. May 30 to decide on a second budget to present to voters.

The list of cuts included a wide-range of items that totaled $1,572,395 in budget reductions to bring the proposed tax hike to 4.26 percent. The board is attempting to reduce the tax hike from the 9.9 percent that voters overwhelmingly rejected May 15 when the $61,780,335 was presented.

The first budget already contained about $4,094,000 in reductions.

If the second budget is rejected by voters on June 19, Niagara-Wheatfield will be forced to adopt a contingency budget that carries no tax increase, a situation officials said would devastate the instructional system. Sabo said he wanted the numbers for the contingency budget too.

Included on the list of cuts approved by the board are: a wage freeze for non-union employees at $109,000; applying a $120,000 grant intended for the pre-kindergarten program to the tax levy; an administrative instructional leadership position at $60,000; $100,000 in reduced legal expenses; a $60,000 guidance counselor; an administrative intern position at $43,710; another $79,355 in athletic program reductions; a month-long furlough of building cleaners to save $73,830; no floor waxing over the summer for $30,000; along with several other items. The largest amount is the $431,000 in unassigned funding that will be applied to the levy.

To bring the budget tax rate down to zero, the district would have to implement cuts in nearly all areas that are classified as non-mandatory by the state. These would include pre-K, kindergarten, all elementary library, music and art teachers, elementary guidance, summer school, extra-curricular activities, interscholastic sports, elective and advanced placement courses, school monitors, bus attendants, and some level of transportation.

    Where?

That "family and friends" club of Dem. Committee men and women, and their co-horts work every possible angle, don't they!
Very sad that qualified outsiders don't even get an interview when there is an opening for a position.

Generational government jobs for their club members at the City, Schools, LMHA, and Erie County......
Nothing personal against anyone or their kids, and I am not saying that they don't have credentials......but.......it just isn't fair to the general public. Club members don't even have a conscience about grabbing it up.......in fact many think it is due them, because........!
