    Unhappy COC meaning update:

Lackawanna Chamber of Commerce (COC) should be known from now on as Clique of Cronies (COC). Let somebody else other than the clique pick out the winners please.

Anyone notice the mayor's city vehicle at Curly's last night for the Poloncarz fundraiser? Hope he wasn't drinking and driving! Why does he use that vehicle for political purposes. I thought it was for "city" business??

The city always bitches about liabilty and so forth. What the hell would be the liability on this?????? Especially if he got into an accident. Would the cops cover it up? That would put a lot of people at risk wouldn't you think??

What a great time for a public hearing at 930 am when most people are working. No wonder this city is screwed up the powers that be just like slipping things thru with out answering questions or being accountable. Nice job.

    Thumbs down Sad.

I agree, not only when our citizens are working---the businesses, especially the small business person who has to work their business in order to stay open.

Just thought I would share this:
I just came from the funeral of one of my neighbors, my friend Cindy's Dad.
He was 91 years old and an original "Darby Ranger" from WWII. When you read about the Darby Rangers it is a remarkable story and he was truly one of our Lackawanna Heroes who fought on his belly so that we can continue to be the Home of the Free!
Dominic Poliseno, from Bethlehem Park, Lackawanna--A real warrior and hero.
May God bless him AND ALL of OUR Lackawanna Veterans---Thank You!

We all know that Lackawanna goes down in history for having the most "Enlisted " men in WWII, BUT I sat with an author at the breakfast and learned Erie County is home to 10% of all the Veterans in the United States!
Now that is good and proud news!

This is great news the sooner they put the actual Lackawanna City School District out of buisness the better off the citizens will be.
