Well I actually find this to be a rather unbalanced diatribe that does not pull from the literature on services consolidation nor is it based on any FACTS whatsoever.
I never said I had no idea about most of the things you said I said I had no idea about.
Not sure why you’re confused. Maybe it’s not confusion after all and you just haven’t completed a Fear Factor Test yet.
It’s never too late though.
If you need a Fire Hall every 2 miles to feel safe, no level of spending will put you at ease……… No matter how tall the doors are.
North Boston and Boston is more than adequate. They can meet in the middle at a predefined point and efficiently cover the town.
Whenever that is suggested, a barrage of “Insurance Increase” nonsense is spewed out. When questioned further, the ISOAngle starts up.
It’s very easy to find brother & sister’s testaments cutting through that defense of overprotection.
I didn’t charge anything to be your librarian and post it up for you. If your chief won’t allow you to read it, your own curiosity should kick in.
Self analyze, take the test, go for a short walk from North Boston to Boston and stop listening to the slitterites.
Stand straight and above all, be safe!

Yes, I will. I have heard that the comptroller’s office is in complete disarray. There is no leadership at all. The current Comptroller was given a staff who he does not know and does not know how to work with. He did not pick them. They were assigned to him. He has no clue on how to manage a BILLION dollar plus budget, never mind interrogate it.
Because of an absolute lack of knowledge and ability at the TOP, the staff (auditors, accountants, etc.), that do the real work, have no clue what to do.
Mark is still calling in audible’s from the C.E.;'s office, but the receiver is NOT catching the passes.
So you decided to air your personal feelings about the new comptroller on a forum geared toward a new fire hall in our town why?
I dont think Boston 99 asked you who he should contact when you made the comment regarding the comptrollers office "not being in good shape" You decided to poke jabs at someone who is not involved in any way shape or form to this topic. You need to keep your mouth flapping to the fire hall discussion or start a new thread regarding the comptrollers performance. I didnt see him posting here chiming in on councilman Boardway. Have you called Dave at home to tell him how to do his job better before you posted here? Or were your intentons just to have him hear about it through the grapevine that he has another armchair quarterback on his case.
I'm off my soap box, the FIRE HALL DISCUSSION may continue........
