good posts lately.
It would be a happy irony if the canal system, which was so vital to NY's growth during the latter half of the 1800's, was a catalyst for its resurgence in a new millenium
Just goes to show, there are a LOT of valuable resources in WNY and NY as a whole that are being GROSSLY underutilized
Potential is EVERYWHERE in Buffalo.
Everyone wants to focus on the mess that the county has found itself in.
Financial crisises are temporary. It will pass, and then hopefulyl more coverage will be given to the GOOD NEWS that IS OUT THERE regarding Buffalo
EVER SO SLOWLY things are turning around in the city. But the key is MOMENTUM..... We're starting to see decades of strong negative momentum turn into a couple years of weak, yet POSITIVE momentum
MOST PEOPLE focus on the "weak" part of that, but they SHOULD focus on the SWING from strong negative to weak positive
It's like you have -$100 dollars 1 year and $5 the next.
The buffalo media and WNY "woe is us" attitude would say "you've only got 5 bucks, that's not REAL growth!"
but in reality you are $105 better than you were... that's quite a shift...
