    Ralph Lorigo

So I've been sitting pondering as the poor judgement Ralph has endorsing a past democratic party chairman for any elected position.

Swanick served 26 years in the County Legislature before retiring in 2005.

“A lot of people felt betrayed by that commitment that he broke,” Mr. Lorigo said in an interview on Friday.
And somehow this justifies the endorsement?

Lorigo Explains Decision To Back Swanick

Here is sound from our YNN Buffalo station last night with Erie County Conservative Party Chair Ralph Lorigo, where he explains why they decided to endorse Democrat Charles Swanick instead of Republican incumbent Senator Mark Grisanti. Watching the interview, I get the sense that it was more than just his vote on gay marriage that led to the boards decision, but Lorigo made it clear that Swanick has better conservative credentials than the Repubilcan incumbent.
“A difficult decision. Well discussed inside there. Swanick is pro-life. Pro-traditional marriage. Pro 2nd amendment. Fiscally conservative. Grisanti talked about his issues. Made a very good presentation to the board. But in the end it was the decision of the board that we needed to move forward with an endorsement for Chuck Swanick,” Lorigo said.

Here is a comment from one of the above articles

Swanick is not an elected official and has been driving a choo choo train since 2005. Get it right. He was run out of town after he collapsed our County budget as leader of out dysfunctional legislature. He's got plenty of baggage and if Grisanti gets his campaign act together all Swanick's issues will be unpacked.

The good Senator needs a hardball team. Time to trade up.
Start unpacking it now so Ralph realizes the error in his judgement...

    http://www.advocate.com/News/Daily_N...Marriage_Vote/

A New York Republican senator is losing the backing of his local Conservative Party because he voted in favor of marriage equality last year.

    This one is interesting

Tim Kennedy indicated at the time of his nomination by the Erie County Conservatives in 2012 that he is a YES vote on SSM. The ECCs did not make it an issue two years ago when they rejected Stachkowski after 30 years and rejection of Jack Quinn who they endorsed in his last two Assembly races.

Maybe the line get redrawn to be multi-coiunty and they Reps get Quinn back if ichael Long approves? Quinn lost the election by 1,500 votes due to the support Kennedy had on the Conservative line ( 4,000 votes).
Will Ralph tell us now that Tim Kennedy will not get a Conservative endorsement seeing he voted for SSM?

Are you serious. Hell no! Ralph is in the Higgins camp back pocket. See Fahey endorsement also.
