OMG, I haven't been there in years.

Last time I was there I was waiting in line outside to get a seat.

Try the Eppie Rolls at laBella. Sausage, peppers & onions wrapped in a triangle of dough and baked, then eaten with a side of some of the best sauce in buffalo (better than Chef''s)

EVERYTHING is good at labella. I love the veal parmesan. It's too much for even me to eat.

Well, you are usually right, but our beloved Labella Sicilia is owned and operated by first generation Sicilian immigrants - which is the criteria (authenticity) you used while ranking your choices (I agree with you that the food is great). When I first went there about 15 years ago, most of the personnel & the chef couldn't even speak english.

Let me tell you my "immigrant Italians" at Romeo & Julietta's are Napolise! So there. That trumps your southern Italian cooking anytime.

And besides....I have never met ANY Italian food that wasn't good!

    Buono Notte!

Fortuna's on 19th Street in NIagara Falls. I haven't found any place else with anchioves red sauce.

Chef's still rocks; the most consistently good food around. Santasieros is good too but not in the same league.
