Genetically Modified Food - Tipping Point Action Group for Buffalo/Rochester Area

Are you interested in joining our GMO tipping point action group for the Buffalo/Rochester area?>>

We are presently trying to generate interest in our area and plan to kick off our local campaign in January of 2012. The Institute for Responsible Technology is currently forming action groups across the United States in an effort to bring greater awareness to the public regarding Genetically Modified Foods.>>

Our group, the Buffalo/Rochester Area Action Group will be working under and will remain in close contact with the Institute for Responsible Technology. As the Leader of the Buffalo/Rochester Action group I will correspond with IRT on a monthly basis to keep them updated on our plan of action and goals for our area. >>

The first meeting will be a get acquainted meeting in which we will discuss the areas of influence and expertise we each bring to the group along with setting some goals for the group. Whether you want to work from home on your computer, pass out literature or speak we need your help – any spare time you have available will be greatly appreciated.>>

Educating the public is extremely important as the number of genetically engineered foods on our grocery shelves is mounting and proper labeling is at a standstill.>>

Please contact me if you are interested in joining the Institute of Responsible Technology’s Buffalo/Rochester Action Group. We are currently making plans to rent meeting space and will need a count of interested individuals as soon as possible. Thank you.>>

    Hi,

I have too much on my plate right now for more activism. However, you get a bump for Real Food.

My video recommendation for those new to understanding real food - The Future of Food.

I understand - it is difficult today with all everyone does, we have to pick our battles - there is a lot to get involved with today.

I have the Future of Food on DVD along with others and once the group is formed and active we will be showing it in churches, maybe schools - wherever they will let us. It is probably one of the best videos on the subject. Thanks for recommending it to others
